Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar says that PTI senators have decided to attend the joint session of Parliament.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Asad Umar said that PTI senators will attend the joint session of Parliament on Monday.
Asad Umar said that the date of the election has been announced and the election of Punjab should be held on April 30. The decision of the Election Commission is against the orders of the Supreme Court.
He said that the Peshawar, Lahore and Islamabad High Courts had decided that the Election Commission cannot change the date. It is hoped that the Supreme Court will also hear the petition against the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He also said that the nation of Pakistan is with the Supreme Court to defend the constitution.
The PTI leader said that we will not allow any deviation from the constitution. Governor will file contempt petition against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Supreme Court, Barrister Ali Zafar will file petition in Supreme Court tomorrow.
