Dubai: On the arrival of Ramadan in the United Arab Emirates, 1 thousand 25 prisoners were ordered to be released.

According to the Emirati official news agency, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued an order to release 1,025 prisoners on the arrival of Ramadan.

According to media reports, the release of the prisoners has been ordered by the Emirati government on the basis of amnesty and giving the prisoners another chance to improve themselves.
