Karachi;  4 robbers disguised as security guards arrested, heavy weapons recovered

Karachi: Site Superhighway Police arrested 4 bandits disguised as security guards in a Suzuki pick-up from Jangal Goth and recovered heavy weapons.

During the patrol, the police stopped and searched 4 suspicious persons in Suzuki pickup number KS-7548, and recovered weapons and ammunition from them. Among the arrested accused are Rajab Ali, Usman, Noorullah and Waseem, from whom a double-two rifle, a 12-bore repeater and a pistol with ammunition have been recovered.

According to the police, the arrested suspects have revealed that they used to commit robberies in the guise of security guards. The accused have also confessed to the incidents in several areas. The arrested accused also spent 7 months in jail and formed their gang there. The accused have been arrested by the Gabol Town police before. Further investigation is going on with the accused.

Apart from this, Sachal, Landhi and Klakot police arrested 4 robbers after alleged encounters and recovered weapons and other stolen items.

Sachal Police arrested 2 dacoits in injured condition after an alleged encounter near Superhighway Scheme 33 Samira Chowk between Monday and Tuesday night.

According to the spokesperson of Karachi Police, the arrested accused were identified as 30-year-old Ramzan son of Jannat Gul and 25-year-old Najeeb son of Lal Muhammad. Two 30 bore pistols with ammunition, mobile phones, cash and a motorcycle were recovered from the accused. After the treatment of the accused, the investigation will be started.

Meanwhile, the Landhi police arrested a bandit in an injured state after an alleged encounter near the 89 gravel stop between Monday and Tuesday night. According to the spokesman of the Karachi police, the bandit was identified as 32-year-old Sikander Khan son of Mansha Khan. A companion of the accused, whose name has been identified as Ahmed, managed to escape from the spot by taking advantage of the darkness of the night.

A TT pistol with ammunition, mobile phone and cash and stolen motorcycle were recovered from the arrested accused.

Kalakot police arrested a dacoit in an injured condition after an alleged encounter at Cheil Chowk Jamila Street, Lyari. According to the police, the injured robber was identified as 30-year-old Zaheer Abbas son of Amanat Ali. A TT pistol, mobile phone and cash were recovered from the suspect.
