The Bureau of Statistics has released funds to the provinces for the ongoing digital census across the country.
Sarwar Gondal, member of the Institute of Statistics, in a statement issued from Islamabad, gave the details of the funds released to the provinces for the census.
He said that funds of more than 4 billion 14 crores have been released to Punjab and more than 2 billion rupees to Sindh.
According to the Member Institute of Statistics, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been provided Rs 1 billion 36 crore and Balochistan Rs 78 crore 30 lakh.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, two and a half crores of rupees were released to Azad Kashmir, while Rs.
Sarwar Gondal further said that 7 crore 29 lakh rupees were provided for the census in the federal capital Islamabad.
According to the member, the money will be used for vehicles, staff training and field operations.
