The Islamabad court judge has suspended the arrest warrant of Chairman PTI Imran Khan till March 16 in the case of threatening a female judge.
Lawyers of Imran Khan appeared in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Faizan Haider Gilani of District and Sessions Court Islamabad.
Imran Khan’s lawyer took the stand in the court that all the provisions imposed on Imran Khan are bailable.
The judge asked whether a bailable arrest warrant had been issued before this.
Imran Khan’s lawyer replied that no bailable arrest warrant had been issued in the case of threatening a woman judge earlier.
The court directed the lawyers of Imran Khan to fix the documents and give them.
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan challenged the non-bailable arrest warrant issued against him today.
As Sessions Judge Tahir Mehmood was on leave, an application was filed in the court of Duty Judge Sikandar Khan on behalf of PTI Chairman.
Duty Judge Sikandar Khan marked the application to Additional Sessions Judge Faizan Haider Gilani.
It should be noted that a non-bailable arrest warrant was issued for Imran Khan in the case of threatening a female judge yesterday.
