Iran expressed interest in more power projects with Pakistan

Islamabad: Energy Minister Khurram Dastgir met his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Mehrabian in Tehran and discussed issues of mutual interest.

On Sunday, the Federal Energy Minister met his Iranian counterpart in Tehran. The Iranian minister appreciated the Pakistani authorities for building a transmission line to import electricity from Iran to Gwadar at a high speed. Also showed interest in starting the project.

On this occasion, Khurram Dastgir thanked his counterpart for increasing cooperation in the energy sector.
