A video of the beating of prisoners by the prison administration in the Central Jail Peshawar has come to light.
Jail Superintendent Maqsood Khan told Geo News that a crackdown is being done against drug dealers in the jail.
He said that they cannot be lenient for supplying drugs and mobile phones in jail.
The prison superintendent said that mobile phones have also been recovered from the prisoners and so far 450 prisoners and prison staff have been punished for supplying drugs to the prison.
He further informed that no one will be allowed to violate the rules.
