Do not make Islamabad Dara Adam Khel, Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri
The Islamabad High Court declared illegal the police and magistrate’s raid on the massage center in Islamabad.
Islamabad High Court Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri heard the petition of citizen Shah Faisal against the raid of fake journalists on the massage center and extortion of money.
The Islamabad High Court expressed its anger on the police and the administration and ordered to file a case against all those responsible.
Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri remarked that Islamabad should not be turned into Dara Adam Khel, magistrates were involved in the illegal raid, action should also be taken against Tuan, if the police do not conduct a transparent investigation, the case will be handed over to FIA, ISI or NAB. Take action against those responsible and submit a report within ten days.
The petitioner explained that there was no police or magistrate with the raiding team, they raided as private media persons and collected Rs. A case has been registered for the incident.
The court said that according to the footage, private individuals raided, knocked on doors, dragged people out and beat them, held wireless and took money from the counters.
The court ordered the DIG Operations to conduct an inquiry and determine those responsible.
