Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ has become the highest grossing film in the history of Indian film industry.
The film has added director Siddharth Anand to the list of filmmakers who have made films that have grossed over INR 500 crore at the Indian box office, while the film has grossed around INR 1040.25 crore globally. A new record has been created in the history by doing business.
Siddharth Anand on achieving such a big milestone said that the film ‘Pathan’ is a film that has given me my due, it has always been my wish to make the best action film in India and show it.
Released on January 25 worldwide in multiple languages, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles.
