Lahore: Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that a peaceful rally will be held today and Imran Khan will lead it.
According to Express News, PTI’s senior leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in a press conference in Lahore that according to the decision of Imran Khan in the leadership meeting, a peaceful rally will be held in Lahore today, which will be led by Imran Khan.
Shah Mehmood said that Maryam is allowed to do everything and we are being prevented from constitutional and legal rights, this is an open contradiction, that’s why we are going to the election. He said that the government wants to postpone the elections by throwing dead bodies and the caretaker chief minister should say that he is the chief minister of PDM.

He said that the administration has again implemented 144 today, which has no justification, but the nomination papers will be collected today. He said that 144 has been imposed to stop the election campaign of Tehreek Ansaf, so in this regard, Yasmin Rashid and Aslam Iqbal will go to the election commission office at 10 am today and request that there is no justification for stopping the rally. go
Shah Mehmood said that through the team of lawyers, the Chief Justice will request the Lahore High Court to end the implementation of Section 144, Babar Awan will also appeal to the Supreme Court and will also meet the Chief Election Commissioner.

He said that he will hold a press conference today at the Jail Road office at 12 o’clock. He appealed to the workers to reach Zaman Park before 2 o’clock and remain peaceful and not take the law into their hands.
On the other hand, Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Chaudhry Fawad Hussain tweeted that he rejects the efforts of the Punjab government to ban political activities. That the process of imposition of 144 by the Punjab government should be annulled, so the rally will be according to the program.
