Another 30.1% were aged 18 to 20, while 8.4% were between 25 and 29 years. Participants below the age of 18 represented 2.9%, while 2.0% were aged 30 to 39 and 0.8% were aged 40 or above.

The participation pattern also highlights the strong response from the education sector.

Approximately 89.9% of participants identified themselves as students, while 10.1% were non-students.

This overwhelming student participation reinforces the potential of educational digital initiatives to engage young people in subjects extending beyond the classroom, particularly national history, citizenship, civic values and social responsibility.

Female Participation Leads

Female participants represented 64.1% of the total entries, compared with 35.9% male participation. Out of six top performers, four are females, whereas top two positions also secured by females.

The figures demonstrate particularly strong engagement by female participants and indicate that the Good Pakistani Quiz succeeded in attracting a broad cross-section of young Pakistanis, including females.

Participation From Across Pakistan

The quiz also attracted participants from cities and towns across the country.

Among the leading locations, Islamabad accounted for 15.2% of entries, followed by Rawalpindi with 14.0%, Lahore with 7.9%, Karachi with 4.5%, Sialkot with 3.4% and Hyderabad with 3.0%.

Other notable participation came from Mianwali, Peshawar, Sukkur, Attock, Chakwal, Sargodha, Abbottabad, Multan, Sambrial, Bahawalpur and several other cities.

The geographical spread demonstrates the ability of an online quiz to reach participants beyond a single city or region and create a nationwide platform for civic engagement.

The PNP Quiz Management, as part of transparency and credibility, has verified eligibility before the final announcement of winners. All of those who tried to use unfair means were disqualified.

The Press Network of Pakistan congratulates the quiz winners and extends its best wishes to all eligible participants taking part in the contest.
