Lahore: The dolphin official who showed the Pakistan Super League match to his friends for free at the Gaddafi Stadium was arrested and a case was registered along with 7 youths.
According to Express News, the passion of watching free matches in the stadium led the youth to hawal while a case was registered against the Dolphin official for showing free cricket matches to his friends. Lahore SHO Gulbarg Imran Sadiq registered a case in his complaint and also detained the free match watchers.
According to the police officials, a case was registered against Dolphin official Munoor Hussain under the provisions of 420 and 155C, while Lahore SHO Gulberg detained the Dolphin official along with his colleagues from Gate No. 5.
A day ago, the Lahore Dolphin official had allowed six people to enter without tickets during the Lahore Qalandar vs Quetta Gladiators match at the Gaddafi Stadium.
On the other hand, SP Dolphin Zohaib Ranjha took notice and suspended the official Manwar and ordered an investigation. According to the Dolphin Force spokesperson, the DSP Headquarters will conduct a thorough inquiry into the Dolphin incident, in the light of which legal action will be taken against the official.
SP Dolphin Zohaib Ranjha said that no exception will be taken for violation of the code of conduct, indiscriminate action will be taken against abuse of authority.
