Lahore: Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by 17 runs in Pakistan Super League 8.
In the 18th match of the league played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Quetta Gladiators managed to score 131 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in pursuit of 149 runs.
Will Schmid scored 32 runs for Quetta Gladiators. Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 27 runs and Umeed Asif remained not out with 11 runs.
Martin Guptill scored 15, Yasir Khan scored 14 and Odin Smith scored 11 runs.
On behalf of Lahore Qalandars, Haris Rauf took 3 wickets, Rashid Khan took 2 wickets and David Wiese took 1 wicket.
Earlier, Lahore Qalandars were bowled out for 148 runs in the 19th over while batting first at the invitation of Quetta Gladiators.
Sikandar Raza scored 71 runs not out for Lahore Qalandars. Rashid Khan was dismissed for 21, captain Shaheen Shah Afridi for 16 and Abdullah Shafiq for 15.
