A businessman was killed in a 'target killing' incident in Karachi

Karachi: A civilian was killed in an alleged target killing incident in District East of Shahr Quaid, the second incident in a few days opened the pool of police performance.

In this regard, SP Jamshed Quarter Zubair Tanuli said that 3 shells of triple-two rifle were found from the crime scene while 3 bullet marks were also found on the car, but initially the incident seems to be a sign of personal grudge while the forensics of the car. During the examination, an old bullet mark was also found on him while the deceased has a jeweler’s shop in Sadar.

The vehicle in which the deceased was riding was registered in his name, on the ID card found in the pocket of the deceased, his current address is Flat No. A90, Street No. 6, Gulshan Iqbal Block Thirteen C District East while his permanent address is Flat No. B5. Apsara Apartment was listed in Gulshan Iqbal Block 14 District East.

The police say that the footages of the closed circuit cameras installed near the crime scene are being obtained to get information about the accused.

It should be noted that earlier on February 26 last month, educationist Khalid Raza was targeted in front of his house by unknown motorcycle-riding suspects in Block 7 of Golestan Johar area and the police are still trying to track down the suspects involved in the incident. Failed.

In Jinnah Hospital, the family members of the deceased said that there has been a murderous attack on him in 2021 as well, in which he was injured while he was also working as a builder in addition to goldsmith. DSP Qaiser Ali Shah said that it is initially suspected that hired killers may be involved in the incident. SHO Jamshed Quarter Khalid Rafiq said that 4 cases have been registered against the deceased and 3 cases have been registered against him under section 324 and section of check bounce in which he was also the deceased plaintiff, witness and accused while in 2021. Murder case No. 172 of the year 2021 on the deceased Amir Haroon is registered in the Sadar police station.
