Buzdar, Parvez Elahi, including the security of important figures of the former Punjab government

Lahore: Punjab and Lahore Police withdrew security from important figures of former Punjab government including Usman Buzdar, Parvez Elahi, Monis Elahi, Yasmin Rashid.

According to sources, more than 1,000 police officers in the provincial capital of Lahore and Punjab Police continued to give protocols to political representatives, in which PTI’s social media head Dr. Arslan Khalid also continued to receive lavish protocols, but withdrew security from important figures. has been taken, under which 554 personnel posted from other units of Lahore and Punjab Police have been sent back to police stations and units.

According to police officials, additional security has also been withdrawn from former chief ministers Usman Buzdar and Parvez Elahi. Security was being provided to both the important figures as per Green Book. Apart from this, the police vehicle and personnel have also been recalled from Mons Elahi. Security has also been withdrawn from former minister Mian Aslam Iqbal, Raja Basharat, Yasmin Rashid, Murad Ras.

Security has also been withdrawn from former chief minister’s advisor Khurram Manwar, Mossadegh Abbasi, Umar Sarfraz Cheema, Haroon Gul, Pir Saif Abbas Ali Shah and Tahir Ashrafi. Apart from them, the security of former chief minister’s personal secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti and assembly secretary Inayatullah has also been withdrawn.

24 vehicles and 554 personnel from other units of Lahore and Punjab Police have been withdrawn from security. It should be noted that former Prime Minister Imran Khan still has 602 employees and officers on security duty.
