The Anti-Terrorism Department in Karachi has arrested the suspect involved in the communal target killing.
In a statement released by CTD, it has been said that on a tip-off, a raid was conducted in the Garden area and an activist of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Muhammad Siddiq, son of Nasiruddin, was arrested. The accused is involved in the incidents of communal target killing.
During the investigation, the arrested accused kidnapped and killed his Seth Ghulam Murtaza, who belonged to the Bohari sect, along with his companions, after a bitter argument and threw the body in the limits of New Karachi. A case was registered in the New Karachi police station. .
The CTD further said that the accused carried out a target killing of 67-year-old Shia Ayub Naqvi, a bookshop owner, along with his colleagues in 2010 when he was traveling in his car.
The accused further said that after killing Ayub Naqvi, there were several raids on his house and he was hiding in Hyderabad fearing arrest.
