Polling will be held today in connection with the by-elections in National Assembly Constituency NA-193 Rajanpur.
There is competition between candidates of different political parties in the constituency.
In the by-election, the contest is between PTI’s Mohsin Leghari, (N) League’s Amar Awais Leghari, PPP’s Akhtar Hasan Gur Chani and others.
It should be remembered that earlier the Punjab government had requested to postpone the NA-193 by-election.
The Punjab government made the request in view of the law and order situation and threats.
The Election Commission had rejected the Punjab government’s request to postpone the by-election.
