Renowned Indian singer Kumar Sanu has revealed that he sang one of his songs on ‘Gunpoint’ 16 times.
Kumar Sanu appeared as a guest on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ where he talked about his music career.
Recounting an incident that happened during his career, he said that I was performing live on stage and everyone was enjoying the song when suddenly I saw some of the participants carrying AK47 rifles. They were sitting and whatever song I sang, they would shoot a fire in the air.
He said that as soon as I left my song ‘Main Dunya Buhla Dunga’ and started humming another song, a man with a rifle came and asked me who told you to stop singing this song.
He added that this drunk man told me that this is his favorite song, so tell me, I want to hear this song again and you have to sing this song for me again, listen to it. I was scared.
Kumar Sanu revealed that on that day I had to sing my same song 16 times for this person.
They said that then they came on stage with guns and started singing themselves. Now when I saw that the atmosphere was getting worse, I hurriedly left the back and stayed in a nearby hotel, but the firing continued till 5 am. stayed
It should be noted that Kumar Sanu got fame from Mahesh Bhatt’s movie ‘Aashiqui’ released in 1990.
