Karachi: Site Superhighway Industrial Area Police, acting on a tip-off near Sohrab Goth, arrested 6 accused who had stolen cattle worth crores of rupees and recovered 35 cattle (calves) from their possession.
According to SSP East Dr. Farrukh Raza, the trader from Rahim Yar Khan had brought his cattle to Karachi for sale and the trader traded his animals in the cattle market on the Northern Bypass, the arrested suspects loaded 41 animals from the trader and money After settling, they gave a token of 4 lakh rupees and took the vehicles to Al-Azam Square, where suddenly the accused took out their weapons and forced the traders off.
The police officer said that the accused escaped with all the cattle and parked them on a fence.
Site Superhighway Police received information about the control, then the police took action and recovered 35 cattle (calves). The accused include Zafar, Shah Murad, Phanu, Qadir Bakhsh, Saeed Ahmed and Usman.
According to SSP East, investigation is ongoing regarding the remaining 6 cattle from the arrested accused.
