Karachi: To make the security of the shrine of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah fool-proof, the work of installing new modern cameras has been started at the shrine.

Earlier, 48 cameras were installed for the security of Mazar-e-Quaid, through which the external and entrance gates of Mazar-e-Quaid were monitored, as well as other places around the dome of Mazar-e-Quaid, including Sabza Zar. It will be possible.
After the installation of the mentioned new cameras, the number of cameras installed at Mazar-e-Quaid will reach 201. The work of installing new 5-megapixel built-in cameras has been started, which will be completed in some time.
According to the resident engineer of Mazar-e-Quaid, Mazar-e-Quaid Abdul Aleem Sheikh, the installation of new cameras will help to improve the security. Mini-dome cameras are also included, while DVRs, hard disks and other devices connected to the cameras are also being replaced.
According to Mazar-e-Quaid administration, Mazar-e-Quaid security and other law enforcement agencies are on round-the-clock surveillance in the monitoring room connected to the cameras. The two gates of the shrine are used for the transportation of delegations and citizens at Bab Iman (VIP Gate), Bab Ittihad (Exhibition Gate), for which 7 walk-through gates were used, which have now been increased to 9. It is going, because usually the rush of citizens near Mazar-e-Quaid increases on national days, the installation of these new and additional gates will also make it possible to screen the people coming to Mazar-e-Quaid in a better way.
