Karachi: The Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather is likely to remain hot and humid in the city for the next 3 days, however, sea breezes are expected to remain active during this time, while the heat is expected to reduce in most districts of the province by June 4.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the weather in the city remained hot and humid on Sunday, the humidity increased to 75% in the morning, and it became hot in the afternoon, but sea breezes remained active.
Regarding the weather of the city, it was informed that the temperature of the city has decreased by 2.9 degrees compared to the previous day and recorded 35.5 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.4 degrees on Saturday.
According to the Heat Wave Alert Center, the weather in Karachi is likely to remain hot and humid during the next 3 days, the mercury is expected to be 35 to 37 degrees on Monday, 34 to 36 degrees on Tuesday, but sea breezes are expected to remain active during this time. .
The Meteorological Department said that the heat wave is likely to subside by June 4 in most of the districts of the province.
In other cities of Sindh, Dadu, Qamber Shahdadkot, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Nowshahrofiroz and Shaheed Benazirabad, the mercury was 45 to 47 degrees, in Sanghar, Hyderabad, Matiari, Tandwalhiar, Tandu Muhammad Khan, Mirpurkhas and Umarkot, it was 42 degrees. 44 degrees, Thatta, Sajawal, Badin and Tharparkar temperature is likely to be 38 to 40 degrees.
Jacobabad recorded the highest temperature in rural Sindh on Sunday at 46.5 degrees, which was 2.2 degrees above the normal temperature for the month of June.
