Karachi: The anti-corruption chairman, who disclosed the corruption system in the anti-corruption department, was dismissed from his post.

According to Express News, a grade 21 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan has opened the Pandora’s box of corruption in anti-corruption. Former Chairman Anti-Corruption Farhat Junejo says that there is a system of corruption in Sindh Anti-Corruption Department, which has been removed from the post after being exposed.

Chairman Anti-Corruption Farhat Ali Junejo was removed from the post by the Sindh government, after which Farhat Junejo, a grade 21 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan, has also come to the fore, in which he has made important revelations. Farhat Junejo has written a letter to Provincial Minister Mohammad Bakhsh Mehr, in which serious allegations have been made regarding corruption in anti-corruption.

Farhat Junejo says that before Eid, I was given an “envelope” as part of corruption as the chairman, which I returned. Told the envelope giver that this money is stained with people’s blood as it has been taken from hospitals, food department, education department etc. in the name of allowance. A private person Shahryar Meher runs a “system” of corruption with the connivance of the Director of the Anti-Corruption Department.

He said that I was being seen as a threat to the whistleblowing system. The Anti-Corruption Department is being run like an auction house in Sindh. The system collects 6 to 7 crore rupees per month from anti-corruption. The system has fixed a monthly bribe of Rs 15 lakh from the Deputy Director and Rs 10 lakh from the Circle Officer.

The former chairman said that anti-corruption minister Mohammad Bakhsh Mehr should have taken notice of the complaint, but I have been transferred. I was not allowed to do the work of eradicating corruption as Chairman Anti-Corruption and I was removed from the post.
