Karachi: Judicial Magistrate South accepted the plea of acquittal against Sindh Tehreek-e-Insaf President Haleem Adil Sheikh in the riot case.
In the City Court, the court of the Judicial Magistrate South passed a decision on the plea of acquittal in the riot case against Tehreek-e-Insaf Sindh President Haleem Adil Shaikh. The court acquitted Haleem Adil Sheikh from the case while accepting the request.
According to Vakil Safai, Haleem Adil Shaikh had appeared before the Sindh High Court with a security bond from the Peshawar High Court. When Haleem Adil Sheikh came out of the Sindh High Court, the police arrested him, the video of which is available, while Haleem Adil Sheikh did not resist. Haleem Adil Shaikh was first arrested in the Ferozeabad case and then a case of rioting was registered in Predi police station.
The petition further stated that the police arrested Halim Adil in violation of the Peshawar High Court order. The case of contempt of court against the police officials is going on in the Peshawar High Court. A case against Haleem Adil Sheikh was registered in Predi police station.
It should be noted that Haleem Adil Sheikh was accused of rioting to avoid arrest.
