Karachi: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that crime in Karachi has reduced by more than 50% during one month.

Speaking at FPCCI, the senior provincial minister said that it is true that Sindh province has been targeted for a long time. Politically, Sindh was also targeted and no one thought what effect it would have on the country.

He said that if there is a government of People’s Party in Sindh, then we are responsible. Most industrialization took place in Sindh, but the situation was created in such a way that some industrialists moved to other provinces or foreign countries. Sindh Government’s Dhabiji Economic Zone will prove to be an exemplary zone. It is being included in CPak.

Sharjeel Memon said that 15 years ago the problems of law and order were severe. People used to go from one city to another in the form of convoys. Recently, the crime rate has increased again in the city, but in the last one month, the crime rate has decreased by more than 50%.

He said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has focused on Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway, our priority is to build Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway first. Billions of rupees are being spent on Karachi. The K4 project is a priority of the Sindh government. Its share has been allocated in the budget. The PPP’s priority is to solve the water and infrastructure issues. Today, thousands of people from all over Pakistan are coming to Karachi for employment, because even today there are opportunities here.
