Emergency helpline 15 received a report of harassment of school-going girls. The caller said that a man was following and making gestures at school going girls every day.
The Virtual Women Police Station immediately dispatched the police to the spot. The police arrested the accused on the spot after identifying the girls. The girls thanked the Virtual Women Police Station for their support.
According to the spokesperson, women can contact the virtual women police station by dialing 15 and pressing 2 in any emergency. So far, in more than 6 thousand cases, women have received help from the Virtual Women Police Station.
