May 9 possible protest; Police raids on houses of PTI leadersMay 9 possible protest; Police raids on houses of PTI leaders

Rawalpindi: The police raided the houses of PTI leaders today in anticipation of possible protests on May 9, but no arrests were made.

The house of PTI leader Mian Imran Hayat was raided by the Rawalpindi police, but he was not present at the house, after which the police went back.

Meanwhile, the police raided the house of PTI leader Naeem Haider Panjotha, but he was not present at home. On the other hand, Naeem Panjutha confirmed the raid in his statement and said that the police and people in plain clothes with them have raided my house. He abused Faisal and Ali Abbas who were there, slapped them and kept asking where Naeem Haider Panjotha was.

He said that I am present in Islamabad, my number is also on, come welcome and arrest me. You forget that you will scare us with these high tactics. It is our fault that we stand with Imran Khan for the supremacy of law in the country.

Besides, the police raided the residence of PTI leader Aamir Mughal in Jhangi Syedan, but Aamir Mughal was not there.
