Bangalore: In a unique incident in the Indian state of Karnataka, a 20-year-old youth killed and burned the body of a delivery boy for an expensive iPhone.
According to Indian media, this brutal act was done by Hemanat Dutt, a 20-year-old iPhone enthusiast. He ordered an iPhone online and stabbed the delivery boy to death when he arrived.
After the murder, he hid the body in his house and then took it to the railway station and set it on fire so that the body could not be identified.
On forensic examination, the body was identified as 23-year-old Hemanath Naik. who worked as a delivery boy at E-Kart Express and he went to give the mobile phone to Hemanat Dutt.
With the help of CCTV footage, the police arrested the killer who, while confessing to the murder, said that the mobile phone was worth Rs 46,000, which he did not have, so he killed the delivery boy.
