Second marriage without first wife's permission, husband sentenced to three months imprisonment

Peshawar: The husband was found guilty of marrying the second wife without the permission of the first wife, the court issued an order of imprisonment for three months.

According to Express News, the case of second marriage without permission was heard in the family court of Peshawar, family court judge Ghulam Hamid sentenced the criminal Sajjad Khan to three months imprisonment and also imposed a fine of 5 thousand rupees.

In case of non-payment of fine, the offender will have to undergo another 15 days of imprisonment. After the court verdict, the criminal was arrested from the court room and transferred to Central Jail Peshawar.

It should be noted that the wife had filed a case against the husband in 2022, the decision of which has come out today.
