Karachi: The matter of wheat theft worth billions of rupees in Sindh has reached NAB.
NAB officials have started investigating wheat scams, NAB has asked the Deputy Director of Food Department, Karachi, for the details of five years’ worth of wheat from Garhi Khairu in Malir’s godown.
NAB has issued a notice to the Deputy Director of Karachi Region, according to the text of the notice, a detailed record of how much wheat was brought to the Malir warehouse from 2015 to 2020 should be provided, from the in-charge of NAB Garhi Khairu Wheat Purchase Center, Nader Ali Magsi and other staff. Investigating, provide details by April 5.
