Islamabad: US Embassy staff visited Adiala Jail and met Zahir Jafar, the killer of Noor Muqaddam.
According to Express News, the US embassy delegation was given consular access to Zahir Jafar, the accused in the famous Zaman murder case. The delegation reached Rawalpindi from Islamabad to meet the criminal.
A three-member delegation met the accused Zahir Jafar in the Deputy Superintendent’s room, the delegation included Michael Murphy, Osama Hanif and Naveed Ghazi. After the meeting, the delegation left Adiala Jail and returned to Islamabad.
It should be noted that the accused Zahir Jafar has been convicted in the murder of Noor Muqaddam, the daughter of a former diplomat.
