Robber escapes after snatching Rs 50 lakh from bank employee in Karachi

Karachi: Masked robbers in a car in Bin Qasim area fled after snatching Rs 50 lakh from an employee of a private bank.

In this regard, SHO Bin Qasim Wilayat Ali Shah said that the employee of a private bank left Aleemuddin Bank alone with 50 lakh rupees in a car and 4 bandits in a car near Bin Qasim cut took the money from him. A full bag containing Rs 50 lakh cash was seized while the police did not find CCTV cameras at the place where the incident took place.

He said that the bank employee was going to deposit 5 million cash in the ATM installed in Port Qasim when the robbery took place on the way. There is mystery in the incident and it is very surprising that the bank employee left alone with such a huge amount of money.

SHO Bin Qasim said that a day ago, he had also obliged the bank manager that if someone takes more than 5 lakh rupees, the police will provide security to carry the cash, however, despite this, the bank management on the instructions of the police. Not implemented.

He further said that when the police got information from him regarding the identity of the robbers, the bank employee said that the four robbers were masked due to which he could not recognize their faces while the robbers were riding in a white Toyota Corolla car. were
