Imran Khan's request to form a judicial commission to audit the election results

Islamabad: Imran Khan filed a request to form a judicial commission to audit the results of the general elections.

Former prime minister and founding chairman PTI Imran Khan has filed an application in the Supreme Court to form a commission on the issue of alleged rigging in general elections.

In the petition filed by Imran Khan, it has been requested that a judicial commission consisting of impartial serving judges of the Supreme Court should be constituted to audit the general elections and the results issued thereafter.

The request states that the federal and provincial governments formed in the country should be stopped from working immediately and the report of the judicial commission should be made public.
