Peshawar: The final list of candidates for the Senate election from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been released.
According to the final list of the Election Commission, 6 candidates are in the fray for the 2 women’s seats in the Senate election from KPK, including Mehwish Ali Khan, Ayesha Bano, Rubina Naz, Begum Tahira Bukhari, Rubina Khalid and Shazia.
Similarly, 8 candidates are in the fray for 2 seats of Technocrat, including Syed Irshad Hussain, Qazi Muhammad, Khalid Mehsud, Fazal Hanan, Bilawal Khan, Qaisar Khan, Noorul Haq Qadri.
There are 16 candidates in the fray for the general 7 seats, including Irfan Saleem, Dilawar Khan, Mirza Muhammad Afridi, Faisal Javed, Talha Mehmood, Azhar Qazi Mashwani, Niaz Muhammad, Muhammad Waqar Orkazai, Fazal Hanan, Faizur Rehman, Attaul Haq, Fida. Names of Muhammad, Shafqat Ayaz, Asif Rafiq, Taj Muhammad Afridi, Nurul Haq Qadri are included.
It should be noted that Murad Saeed, Azam Swati and former Chief Minister Mehmood Khan have been out of the Senate election.
