The Election Commission ordered the returning officer of PP 32 Gujarat to receive the nomination papers of Parvez Elahi for the by-election.
On the request of Parvez Elahi’s wife Qaisara Elahi, an important meeting of the Election Commission of Pakistan was held in which PP 32 to send instructions to the returning officer of Gujarat. The Election Commission also sought a report from the Returning Officer.
According to the Election Commission, a request was received that unknown persons are sitting in the RO’s office and are not allowing submission of documents and according to the petitioners, you were not even in your office.
It should be noted that Parvez Elahi’s wife Qaisra Elahi filed an application in the Election Commission for the by-election in PP 32 Gujarat.
In the petition, it was stated that submission of nomination papers is being prevented in the ROPP 32 office, so the Election Commission should order the RO and DPO Gujarat to remove the obstacles.
According to the request, when he went to the RO office, unknown persons threatened him not to submit the documents, the RO office has been besieged and the roads have been blocked.
It should be noted that Parvez Elahi’s wife Qaisra Elahi and her sister Samira Elahi had reached the Election Commission office to submit their nomination papers but could not submit their nomination papers due to the absence of RO.
