Karachi: The traffic police in Shahr Quaid could not improve their behavior. In the latest incident, a footage of torture on a citizen came to light.
It became expensive for the young man to question the traffic police officer within the limits of Tariq Road traffic section. The footage of the civil violence between the traffic officer and the officials has come to light, in which the traffic officials issued a challan to the young man for not having number plates on his motorcycle.
The young man told the traffic official that the number plate of the motorcycle is not only on the front, but the number plate is on the back, while the challan mentions both sides. On which the traffic officer misbehaved.
The citizen started making a video abusing the officials, on which the traffic officer and fellow officials lost their minds after seeing the video being made. The traffic officer and officials tortured the citizen.
After the video of the incident went viral on social media, DIG Traffic Karachi Iqbal Dara took notice and sought a report from SSP Traffic East. SP Traffic East appointed as inquiry officer.
