Islamabad: Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder, approached the Islamabad High Court against the FIA inquiry.
The petition requested that the February 2 notice of the FIA cybercrime circle be suspended while the FIA be ordered to provide evidence and records against Aleema Khanum. The court should also declare the FIA notice null and void.
It is stated in the application that the FIA notice has been seen on social media which has not yet been received by the applicant, the text of the inquiry or the complaint has not been provided to Alimah Khanum till date. Harassment and retaliation against the petitioner in the guise of FIA notice, Aleema Khanum is ready to be investigated in the form of a transparent inquiry.
The FIA has been made a party to the petition.
According to FIA, Alima Khan did not reach the FIA headquarters despite half an hour beyond the scheduled time for inquiry, while Ulmiya Khan’s name is also present on the entry register of FIA headquarters.
FIA Counter-Terrorism Wing Islamabad has summoned Alimah Khanum today at 11 AM, FIA had notified Alimah Khanum under Section 160 CrPC for Inquiry No. 4/24.
The inquiry section officer policy is filed on the complaint of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The inquiry was initiated on allegations of creating division between the people and the army by creating a criminal conspiracy to spread hatred against the state.
The notice said that in case of non-appearance, it will be considered that there is nothing to say in cleaning, in such a case, legal action will be taken.
A summon notice was sent to Alimah Khanum at her residential address in Lahore on February 2. Alimah Khanum was also summoned by FIA Cyber Crime Wing Islamabad on February 3 but she did not appear.
