Lahore: The three-day Faiz Festival is going on in full swing at the Alhamra Arts Council in Iqbal city, and on the second day, well-known poet Javed Akhtar from India also participated.
According to Express News, renowned singer Adeel Hashmi spoke with the guest poet Javed Akhtar from India in the session of ‘Jadu Nama’.
On the second day of the Faiz Festival, the three halls of the Al-Hamra, the literary meeting, the art gallery and the lawn were full of literature and culture.
On the second day, more than 30 sessions were held in which views were expressed on various academic, social and cultural topics.
In one session, famous artists Salima Hashmi, Danesh Hasan, Atal Tiwari, Mehtab Rashidi shed light on various aspects of their culture, while in the important session “Jhane Hum Dikha” Dr. Arifa Saida spoke with Zahra Nigha.
Behind the Butterfly of Dream, Aaj Tum Behash Yad Aaye, Dharti Ki Malkain, Murre Dil Murre Masafari, Faiz Ka Faiz were also part of the schedule.
On this occasion, Zulfikar Zulfi said that Al-Hamra Faiz Festival will leave no stone unturned in providing a literature-friendly environment to the guests and the public.
