Islamabad: Federal Minister of Defense Khawaja Asif has said that Arif Alvi should stay within his constitutional hours and not transgress the constitutional limits of the Election Commission, while Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Arif Alvi is a participant in the crime of foreign funding case.
In a tweet, Khawaja Asif shared the election law document on the social networking site Twitter and wrote that the President should not play politics on the issue of elections and stay within his constitutional hours.

He said that ‘Arif Alvi should take care of the honor of his position if not his own, remember that he occupied the position of the President of the country as a result of the selection/events in 2018. Khawaja Asif further wrote that the decision of the Supreme Court is available for reference and warning.
Mr. Arif Alvi, stay within your constitutional hours. Do not exceed the constitutional limits of the Election Commission. And don’t do politics. On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that Arif Alvi should become the President of Pakistan, not to become Imran Khan’s spokesperson, he should respect the honor of his position. Earlier, Imran Khan had asked the President, Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Governor to take some such actions. Rent which was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
He said that it is sad to change the constitutional post of the President to the post of party spokesman, the President has nothing to do with the announcement of the election date, Arif Alvi is interfering with the constitutional authority of the Election Commission.
Rana Sanaullah wrote that Arif Alvi is an accomplice in the foreign funding case, Imran Khan is trying to put pressure on the Election Commission through the post of President.
Later, Federal Law Minister Senator Azam Nazir Tarar said that the President of the country should take care of the sanctity of the constitutional position, the Constitution of Pakistan does not give the President the authority to give the date of the provincial assembly elections, the Election Commission should be criticized on the words of its leader.
