Karachi: Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqir has praised the efforts of Finance Minister Younis Dhaga and his team for introducing online services in the Revenue and Industries Departments and termed it as a revolutionary initiative.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of five digital initiatives related to public access to government services, e-Services, e-Registration, e-Mutation, e-Pay Sindh, Industrial Estate Management System, he further said that the said initiative of the Sindh government is the Sindh province’s initiative. E-Registration will be a service that will allow citizens to register their sale deed through online applications, payments and biometric verification and scheduled registration before the Sub-Registrar.

He said that there is an e-mutation service for changes in land records, a service that will allow citizens to easily change their land rights records online and directly while registering through e-registration. It will be automatically updated online and made available online to the general public, saving them time and money and also helping to ensure that land records are accurate and up-to-date. Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqir said that the third initiative is ePay Sindh, which is a service that will allow citizens to make all payments to the Government of Sindh through an online digital channel, making it easier for people to pay their taxes. , payment of fees and other dues will become easier.

He said that the fourth initiative is the Industrial Estate Management System for Site Limited and Sindh Small Industrial Estates, a service that will provide a central platform for the management of industrial estates in Sindh.

Chief Minister Sindh said that this will help in improving the efficiency and productivity of these estates and will also attract new investments. Justice Maqbool Baqir said that these five e-services launched by the Sindh government are the beginning of our journey towards a fully digital government.
