Peshawar: Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Mujamad Ibrahim has said that he is receiving threats without any sin but will not compromise on the reputation of the court.
In the Peshawar High Court, Chief Justice Muhammad Ibrahim heard the petition against the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Aftab Alam, where Advocate General Aamir Javed and General Secretary High Court Bar Lajbar Advocate appeared in the court.

Advocate Lajbar told the court that a police force has been stationed in front of the High Court, the police are arresting those who come to the High Court for bail, the extra force should be removed from the High Court.
The Advocate General said that the KP Bar Council has asked for security, on which the Chief Justice Peshawar High Court said that if security is not required, then the Bar President and you should decide to withdraw the security, the responsibility of removing the security from the premises of the High Court. You will have your own.
Chief Justice Muhammad Ibrahim said that if we arrest someone from the premises of the High Court, it is a dishonor to us, so take care of the premises of the High Court.
The Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court said that I am a guest on this chair for 3 months, after that another brother of mine will become the Chief Justice, lawyers should leave political parties, keep brotherhood among themselves.
The Chief Justice said that I will not compromise on the reputation of the court, we are receiving threats without any sin, I have no connection with any political party and will not join any party after retirement.
During the hearing, the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court said that what happens more often after retirement, the caretaker becomes the Chief Minister, what is the position of the Chief Minister in front of the Chief Justice, the cases of the Chief Minister also come before us. Even now, the case of the Chief Minister is under hearing in the court.
