Islamabad: The US Embassy in Pakistan has also taken action on the new tax imposed on drinks by the government through the mini budget.
A delegation from the US Embassy in Pakistan led by Commercial Consul Aaron Fishman along with representatives of multinational beverage companies visited FBR headquarters Islamabad on Friday and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue Tariq Mehmood Pasha and Chairman Meeting with FBR Asim Ahmed Chairman FBR welcomed the delegation and discussed in detail the cooperation between Pakistan and America in terms of trade and business facilities.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister and Chairman FBR assured the representatives of the companies that their genuine concerns would be addressed on priority basis.
