Lahore: A case has been registered against those who attacked former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar’s house with a grenade.
According to the police, a case has been registered against those who attacked the former Chief Justice’s house with a grenade in Garden Town. CTD Punjab has registered an FIR of the attack against Constable Sajjad Hussain, which includes terrorism provisions including Section 7 ATA-353.427.186.1 among others.
According to the FIR, 3 people Constable Amir Ali, Khurram Shahzad and Sajjad Hussain were injured as a result of the attack. The windows of 2 vehicles were broken due to the attack. A grenade was thrown at a vehicle parked between the garage and the yard, which also damaged the vehicle AFT 567 and Hyundai A Double L 079 in the house.
According to police sources, the number of attackers was 2. Both the assailants threw grenades on the motorcycle and escaped. The ages of the attackers are between 25 and 30 years. The alleged assailants left for the main highway after the attack. With the help of NADRA, efforts are being made to identify the faces of the two attackers, while the terrorists are also being identified from the number of the motorcycle. The CTD police is also investigating the incident.
DIG Operations Lahore Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi says that along with collecting all the evidence of the incident, statements of the eyewitnesses have also been recorded. In light of the evidence, the accused will be arrested soon.
