Dozens of officials of CTD Islamabad turned out to be victims of depression

489 officers and employees of Islamabad Police were medically examined, out of which 33 officers were found to be patients of depression.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, on the orders of ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, a psychological survey of CTD officials was conducted. Counseling is required.

The written test was designed as per international standards to know the psychological condition of CTD personnel. It was directed to provide immediate treatment facilities for employees suffering from mental stress.

According to the spokesman, the personnel have been posted on light duties while two patients have been shifted to the hospital, the welfare of police personnel is the top priority of the agency.
