A larger bench was formed on a petition against the services of the bureaucracy for elections

Lahore: The High Court constituted a larger bench on a petition against the services of the bureaucracy for general elections.

According to Express News, a 5-member larger bench of Lahore High Court headed by Justice Ali Baqer Najafi will hear the petition on December 18. Other members of the bench include Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry, Justice Sardar Sarfraz Dogar, Justice Sultan Tanveer and Justice Jawad Hasan.

It should be noted that the single bench of the Lahore High Court had suspended the notification of the Election Commission for taking the services of the bureaucracy for the elections and had recommended the formation of a larger bench on the petition.
