Abbottabad, Karachi Whites and Peshawar Region won their respective matches in the Super Eight stage of the ongoing National T20 Cup in Karachi.
The match between Abbottabad and Lahore Whites was played at the National Stadium, where Abbottabad defeated Lahore Whites by 22 runs.
Batting first, Abbottabad scored 205 runs for the loss of 6 wickets with the help of Sajjad Ali’s 6 sixes and 8 fours and 87 runs with the help of Kamran Ghulam’s 6 sixes and 7 fours.
In reply, the team of Lahore Whites scored 183 runs for 8 wickets, Mohammad Faiq scored 63 runs and Saad Naseem scored 57 runs.
In the match between Karachi Whites and FATA at NBP Sports Complex, Karachi Whites won by 8 wickets.
Batting first, FATA scored 139 runs for 8 wickets, Karachi Whites achieved the target in 19 overs, opener Imad Alam scored 53 runs and Khurram Manzoor scored 49 runs.
The match played at UB Sports Complex was won by Peshawar Region by 7 wickets, the Rawalpindi Region team was bowled out for 107 runs, Muhammad Imran sent 6 players to the pavilion for 16 runs. Peshawar Region easily achieved the target in 13.2 overs.
