Lahore: The police took immediate action and arrested the accused who snatched the girl from her mother’s lap and escaped.
According to Express News, a woman was coming home with her two-year-old daughter in her lap in Mustigate area of Lahore, when a man snatched the girl from her lap and ran away.
Hearing the noise of the mother, the police officers on the bridge chased the accused and caught him and took the baby from him and handed it back to the mother.
The mother thanked the police and prayed for her daughter’s safe recovery.
According to SHO Mastigate, a case has been registered against the accused Tanveer and the investigation has been started.
SP City Captain Retired Kazi Ali Raza congratulated the SHO Mustigate and the police team for arresting the accused by taking immediate action on the call of the mother.
SP City said that the police is always there to protect the lives and property of the public.
