The National Selection Committee held preliminary consultations for domestic contracts.
The official meeting of National Selection Committee was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Chief Selector Wahab Riaz.
According to the sources, the performance of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy and national T20 were considered in the meeting, during which initial consultation was also done for domestic contracts.
According to sources, the interim squad for the series from New Zealand will be finalized after the national T20 in the meeting.
The national selection committee meeting was attended by Wahab Riaz, Toasif Ahmed and Wasim Haider while Chief Selector’s Advisor Kamran Akmal and Rao Iftikhar were also present on the occasion.
Wajahatullah Wasti did not attend the meeting due to ill health.
