Test cricketer Iftikhar Ahmed says that criticism of legendary cricketers affects the performance of players, it is not appropriate to talk negatively on TV.
During a special interview with Geo News, Iftikhar Ahmed said that he wishes the team all the best during the tour of Australia. The team consists of young players, there are young bowlers, they need full support, our players are not used to playing on drop-in pitches.

Test cricketer Iftikhar Ahmed said that it is not appropriate for legendary cricketers of our country to sit on TV and talk negatively about the national team. Teams from India or other countries are not criticized as much as Pakistan.
He added that when former cricketers speak negatively, it has a bad effect on the players. Even the player who is performing cannot.
Iftikhar Ahmed said that if the legends cricketers talk positively about the players’ technique and other issues, if the players listen to them, they will also follow it.
He said that he requested the former players to speak positively for the team.
