97 new cases of dengue have been confirmed in Punjab in the last 24 hours.
According to Secretary Health Punjab Ali Jan Khan, 14 thousand 432 dengue patients have been reported in 36 districts of Punjab this year.
Ali Jan Khan says that 6 thousand 602 dengue patients have been reported in Lahore this year.
Secretary Health said that 61 new dengue patients have been confirmed in Lahore, 2 in Rawalpindi, 11 in Gujranwala, 10 in Faisalabad, 4 in Multan and 2 in Sheikhupura.
He said that one new patient has been reported in Narowal, Okara, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur, Wahari, Lodhran and Khushab.
He also said that currently 72 dengue patients are under treatment in hospitals across Punjab.
