Caretaker Prime Minister took notice of the controversial appointment of Salman Butt in the selection committee of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
On the instructions of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, the controversial appointment was canceled immediately.
Anwarul Haq Kakar said that there is no shortage of talent in Pakistan, the selection committee of cricket players should be non-controversial.
He also said that selectors of good reputation should be included in the PCB selection committee.
Caretaker Prime Minister said that for the success of Pakistan cricket, all appointments will be made on merit.
It should be noted that while holding a press conference earlier, Wahab Riaz, the head of the selection committee, said that the appointment of Salman Butt as a consultant was his decision and he is withdrawing his decision.
